It's not rocket science

 

1. 뜻

- It is easy to understand

- used to say that you do not think something is very difficult to do or to understand

  : (무언가를 하거나 이해하는 것이 어렵지 않다고 생각하는 표현) 정말 쉬운 것이다. 

 

2. 예문 

1)  My coach always said, "Basketball is not rocket science. It's about putting the ball in the basket."

     나의 코치는 항상 "농구는 어렵지 않다. 그냥 바구니에 공을 넣기만 하면 된다"라고 말했다. 

     

2) Designing a website may be a lot of work but it's not rocket science. 

    웹사이트를 디자인하는 것은 할 게 많지만 어려운 일은 아니다.

A: I have to do that by myself?

B: It's not rocket science, you know.

A: 내가 그걸 혼자 해야 한다고?
